Thailand’s Economic Outlook Projection 2013

          Thai Economy in 2013 is expected to grow steadily by 5.3 percent, increasing 5 percent from the economic projection in December 2012. The main driver is an expansion in domestic spending especially in goods consumption. External demand will also yield positive results for the exports sector in 2013 which is forecast to grow by 9 percent in response to the overall global economic recovery.           In addition, an expansion of private investment has been steadily accelerating due to the positive impacts of the government policies to promote economic recovery after the flooding in 2011. Amazing Thai Weekend in Antwerp

The Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels, in collaboration with the City of Antwerp, will organize an “Amazing Thai Weekend in Antwerp” festival during 5 - 6 May 2012 at Groenplaats. On 5 May, the festival will start from 10.00 to 19.00 hours and will continue on 6 May from 10.00 to 18.00 hours. Entrance is free for the visitors. Many of you may recall such an event in Antwerp in April 2008 which was organized to celebrate the 140thAnniversary of Thailand – Belgium relations.
